Okay, there aren't that many rules for this RPG, so I'm just going to lay them out plain and simple. Please try and obey them to the best of your ability.
First of all, this RPG is rated PG-13 to M, for the reason that it is liable to deal with mature subject matter. Those younger than 13 are not reccomended.
Secondly, I, the admin, have final say. Please don't go against what I tell you, as I will try to be fair and kind to everyone.
Spelling and good grammar is a must. I don't want to see 'txt tlk' everywhere, or mispelled words every other sentence. Keep your posts readable and understandable. Although there is no strict minimum or maximum when it comes to post lengths, I'd prefer to see at least one paragraph. (A paragraph is roughly five to seven sentences, which is not difficult. Remeber to be descriptive and realistic, as it makes roleplaying much more interesting.)
Drugs, swearing, mild sex and violence is all accepted, but please, let's not go overboard. All threads that are not suitable for younger readers must be marked with a 'M' or 'R'.
Power playing is not allowed and can and will get you banned after three warnings.
Celebrity pictures are allowed. But please, if you use a celebrity picture, only one person can claim one celebrity to use for that character. Unless the characters are twins, and both members have agreed to have the same avatar, claimed celebrities are reserved for one character only. I don't want to see fifty characters with Hilary Duff as their photo on the site.
No more than 1 character per account please. It makes signatures less cluttered and is easier to keep organized. Your display name must be your character's full name.
Also, try and keep your signatures looking neat and organized, with decent sized pictures. It's no good to have to scroll forever in threads due to oversized pictures, or have to deal with stretched boards. If your picture is to big, a staff member will first remove the picture, and you will be notified through PMs along with ways to fix it.
You may have as many characters as you'd like, so long as they're all kept active. Inactive characters crowd up the site, and after each activity check the accounts missing from the 'active' character list will be deleted, unless the member states otherwise.
Also, please try to stay active yourselves. Do not join simply for the sake of joining and then abandon the site. Any accounts that have not been logged into for longer than four weeks without the member posting on the away boards can become deleted.
Students are expected to be at the classes they signed up for. Detentions can be given out to the students who continuously skip class, or misbehave. It is up to the teacher to decide the punishment for a student's disruptive behavior.
Teachers are welcome to sign up in the designated board. Teachers can have relationships with students, but don't get caught, or there could be trouble. They may have relationships freely with other teachers. It is prefered that teachers are the only ones starting threads in the classes, however if there isn't a teacher for a class a student can make a thread.
Student teachers are accepted as well. If you are a student (Preferably older than 17), and wish to become a teacher for an open class, please contact the admin or post in the teacher's application board.
Dorms are where all students must live if they board at the school. Houses are eligible for adults, day students and married couples only. If you are interested in getting a sub-board in the housing district board, contact the admin for more details.
Mind the seasons, please. I don't want to read about going skating in the park during summer, or vice versa. This is your average New England town, meaning on the East Coast of the USA, and it experiences winter, spring, summer, and fall. If you want to know what the season is, take a look at the head table on the main page.
Before posting on any of the boards, register your characters on their respective enrollment boards using the example template supplied by the admin. Modifications to this template are allowed, so long as all the information required is included.
Please try and follow the rules the best you can. If you don't, the following are the consequences:
First Offense - A warning, and depending on the severity, a day-long ban. Second Offense - Three-day ban. Third Offense - A week-long ban, or account deletion. Fourth Offense - You're banned from the site, and your account will be deleted.
