a long night spent with your most obvious weakness
you start shaking at the thought
you are everything i want
cause you are everything i'm not

Jonathan had found himself at the park – he wasn't sure how he had gotten there in the first place, he had been wandering all day, lost in his own thoughts. The park wasn't nearly as crowded as he thought – of that he was glad. He shoved his hands deep in his pockets and walked along the dirt path, scuffing his foot against a stone to send it tumbling across. He sighed deeply and craned his neck back as he closed his eyes with a furrowed brow. His broad shoulders sagged as he exhaled through his parted lips, opening his green eyes slowly. A breeze braided throughout the leaves of the overhanging willow, a hush drifting solemnly through the air. The cool wind brushed it's fingertips against the hollow of his cheek, and he closed his eyes as memories carried swiftly to his conscience.

A day he had spent with Camille in the park this past spring. Had it really only been a few months ago? Jon felt like he had aged so much this summer. The boy he saw in the mirror should be lined with wrinkles, sagging from the weight of time and eyes cloudy from the pain of passing years. But it was just his sixteen year old reflection, staring with empty eyes back at him.

Camille had found a dandelion, its wispy seeds threatening to release at any moment. She precariously held her hand around it as she walked to him – a sweet smile across her soft lips. "What would you wish for Jonathan?"
"Anything?"
"Absolutely anything." Echoes of her lilting laugh still floated devastatingly to his mind.
"I'd wish for you Camille."
"But you already have me." Her warm brown eyes tickled with laughter that had not brushed her lips yet.
"I'd wish to keep you forever." Jon grimaced in pain as he remembered the feel of her silken lips crushed against his as they embraced each other that day in the park.
She had smiled at him, and pursed her lips as she blew softly against the dandelion – sending the feathery seeds floating into the azure sky.
"What did you wish for?" She never did answer him. She had replied that she loved him, and him, her – it was the first time both of them had ever uttered those words to each other. And so the question drifted away along with the rest of the dandelion, except only to be whispered endlessly in Jon's mind, the unspoken answer slowly clawing away at him.

Jonathan sat wearily down on a worn park bench, and held his head in the curve of his hands. He stared down to his shoelaces – one of them untied – and plucked something up from the ground.
A dandelion.
It looked to have already lost most of its seeds, the warm weather evaporating quickly, taking away the life around it. Jon closed his eyes and deeply knotted his eyebrows together as he softly blew against the flower.
"I wish for you Camille…" he whispered aloud, allowing his head to droop in complete defeat.

Talon walked into the park. Why she was there, she didnt know. She was ok with being there though. She had a cappachino in her hand. She loved cappachino. She just loved coffee. She had a pair of tight jeans, and a pair of hot pink converse on. She had a black cami on. She had a very small frame, and she didnt mind showing it off. She actually liked it when guys looked at her. It made her feel good. Like she was wanted or whatever. She dropped her empty cappachino cup in a garbage can. She then kept walking. She tripped over herself, but luckely didnt fall. Yes, how could a girl be a model, but be so clutzy. Well she wasnt always clutzy. It was the drugs that had changed her. She didnt know why she had started drugs, but she did. She knew that it was bad for her, but whatever. She didnt want to quit. She didnt have any reason to quit, its not like anyone cared.

Talon saw a bunch of kids with their moms. Mom. Thats one word that she missed. She never got to say, 'my moms calling i need to go', or 'i miss you mom' When her mom died it was like her world ended. Ya, she was really super close to her mom. Ofcourse there were moments where she hated her mom so much. But when her mom died, she wanted her mom so bad. Now, if somehting happend to her step mom, or her dad, she would really be alone. She loved her step mom just as much as she loved her mom. She was always there for her now, that her mom was gone. She still didnt accept it. She didnt let other people know about it though. She kept it very quiet. She didnt want people to feel bad for her, or whatever. She hated it when people took pitty on her.

Talon had been walking backwards. She was alittle on the high side, so thats probably why she was being so dumb, and wild. She all of a sudden ran into a bench. She fell back, and fell over the bench. She had her feet up in the air, and her head was hanging over the end of the bench. She looked over to see if there was anyone else on the bench. Ya there was. Wow she really felt stupid. She was laughing, and she was ocasionally snorting. Wow she hated her laugh....alot. She smiled at the kid next to her, and stopped laughing. She flipped her legs over, and was now sitting right side up. She couldnt believe that she had just ran into the bench, and fell over backwards. She was such a loser when she was on the high side.

[okay, not too sure whats going on. so im just gonna post.]

For some reason, Haylee was drawn to the park today. After she had gotten dressed, in a simple purle sweater, jeans and a pair of boots she wore almost ever day. Oh, and of course her famous brown, knit hat. Usually she'd let whoever she was rooming with know she was leaving for today, or simply leave a note. Though, if you don't room with anyone, what do you do? Just walk out, thats what. Living alone was something new to Haylee, and she kept her hopes high that she'd be getting a roommate or two soon. She hated the quiet, lonely nights that not having someone to stay with brought. Before walking out the door, she slid her cell phone in her back pocket, and before opening the door, spotted her camera. She thought to herself for a moment, before reaching towards the counter to grab it, you never knew when there'd be a kodak moment. With a subtle smile to herself she swung it over her arm and left the dorm room, locked.

She twirled her jingly keys around her thin fingers, before thinking to herself, 'why would I drove on such a nice, cool day like this?'. Being too lazy to walk back up to her dorm, she clipped her keys around her belt loop in the front. As she made her way down the smooth pavement, her keys jingled at every shift of her weight. It was quite annoying actually, but she decided to deal with it, and hummed a song quietly under her breath to herself. Lola, by The Kinks, to be exact. She happened to be listening to that before she had left the house, which explained it being stuck in her head. It was a good song, with a little twist at the end. Something her style, actuallys he didn't really have a type of music she specifically listened to. Always willing to give any type a chance.

Luckily the park wasn't too far away, and she could already see it, well most of it. The park was pretty big, she went there often, and always had a good time. Whether it be doing something crazy with her friends, or just sitting quietly on the bench, and most of the time taking pictures. Whenever she spotted something interesting on the way there, she'd lift her camera from her arm and snap a few pictures. Photography is her passion, she loves it deeply. The whole experience of capturing a moment in time, and keeping it forever. You could leave it at the bottom of a box, or hang it on your wall, or do whatever with it. Though its so amazing to just look and laugh to yourself, and remember that time. Seeing a bird feeding its babies she brought her camera to her eye, focused the lens, and snapped a few shots.

Now the park was only a few feet away, with a grin that spread quickly across her face, Haylee sped up her pace. Before skipping past the 'Welcome to Terrace Park' sign that was chipping along the edges. She glanced around with a heavy sigh, bent down and took a picture of a bright pink flower, that stood out among the white ones. Satisfied for now, she let her camera hang loosely around her shoulder, and made her way towards a bench, occupied by a boy who was most likely about her age. His head was cupped in his hands, and he looked pretty down. Her smile softened, and she took a seat a little ways from him, on the bench. She tilted her head, trying to get a better look at his face. Maybe he really was sad, or just thinking.

She's gone
How do you feel about it?
That's what I thought
You're real done up about it

Jon looked down at his now empty hands and rubbed them together absentmindedly, absorbed in his thoughts. It was the only place he felt like he was these days – drifting along aimlessly through tender memories and painful regrets. He was stuck there – twisted and contorted into a cage he could never free himself from. And the harder he tried to get out, the tighter it enclosed on him, until he finally just…gave up.

Nothing was worth that much effort to him. Except Camille. But that time already passed a long time ago – when the world didn't look as bleak.

He leaned back against the old bench, sliding his fingers through his hair as he clasped them behind his head, looking out over the field before him. Trees clustered in small groups much like the people below them. Fall was coming – green leaves were fading to gold as t-shirts faded to sweaters. A brisk air swept in, bringing the sound of boisterous laughter to his ears. He looked over to see a group of teenagers, a little younger than him, walking across the field. Without realizing it, a small smile touched his lips at the thought of his own group of friends back in London. He never knew a more shitfaced, completely absurd and ridiculous group before. And his time with them was always the best of his life.

Memories of their 9th grade year together began surfacing before his eyes. But before Camille's bright face could appear in his mind, he shoved it all away brusquely – staring intensely on the present day world, careful not to get trapped in his mind of yesterdays. He didn’t have to try for long though. Shortly after, he noticed a woman walking backwards out of the corner of his eye – edging closer and closer towards him. Soon enough, she toppled clumsily against and over the iron armrest in a disarray of tangled arms and legs. Jon looked down slowly to stare into a hazy expression and bleary eyes. He shook his head solemnly and picked himself up off the bench. He had seen his fair share of drugs to know that the girl wasn't exactly sober, and there was no way he was getting himself caught up in that again. He shoved his hands deep into his pockets, not caring to look back as he walked further along the dusty path.

A young girl was sitting politely on the next bench over, her bright eyes filled with curiosity as she stared complacently at him. He paused for a moment, his brow line furrowing slightly in confusion. He wasn't sure to wave hello or ask her if that was her friend lying unconscious on the bench now. He chose to do neither as he turned away indifferent and began striding across the field, biting on his lower lip in dispute.

{ooc.: sorry -- i just made haylee be on the next bench over rather than beside of him, because it really didnt work out with talon lying there. haha.
and sorry about the shitty writing. my muse flew out the window today. still trying to catch it. >_<}

Haylee was occupied, setting up her camera for the weather, and scenery she was in now. As she turned the knobs and clicked the buttons, she noticed the boy had gotten up and was starting to walk away. She could barely see him look over with a furrowed brow, and she gave him a sweet smile, before looking back at her camera in her lap. She suddenly had an epiphany and remembered exactly what switch she forgot to toggle to get her camera fully working in action. After this she turned it on, and was satisfied. Glancing around, she let her blue eyes wander aimlessly for something to catch. Her attention drew back to the boy walking away.

A toothy smile spread across her delicate face, and she clicked the camera off before hurrying off to catch up with the boy. She was sure the girl that was lying on the bench would be fine there, she was just, laying there. Plus, she didn't want to get caught up in anything she was doing. Once she was only a few feet away from the boy, she sprinted the next few steps until she was beside him. Tapping him lightly on the shoulder, she waited for him to turn to her, so she could ask him a question.

Once he did, she smiled up at him, since he was taller than she, and she lifted her camera into his view. "Do you mind if I take a picture of you?" she asked, she wanted to get a picture from ground level, she'd have to lay on the ground, but for a good picture she'd do anything. Also in the picture, she'd get all of the beautiful scenery of the park, and then the boy, walking away, his legs would probably be blurred, but that was the whole idea. She looked up at him eagerly, and clicked her heels together merrily. She was anxious to hear his answer.

She would've just taken the picture without his permission, but now you have to get permission from whoever your taking a picture of if you can or not. So, that was exactly what she was doing. Doing anything for a good picture, didn't really mean breaking the law, because, that would not be good.
